More Details on Our Top Picks
Squishmallows 10-Inch Brooke Polar Bear Holiday Plush
This 10-inch Brooke Polar Bear Squishmallow stands out as the best overall choice due to its perfect balance of size, softness, and holiday charm. It offers a cozy, huggable feel that makes it ideal for both children and casual collectors, especially compared to the smaller Micromallows Advent Calendar, which might be too tiny for some. While it excels in cuddly comfort and festive appeal, its limited size might disappoint those seeking a larger or more detailed plush. For most families or collectors looking for a versatile holiday plush, this model hits the sweet spot between portability and cuteness.
Pros:- Super soft and cuddly, perfect for hugging
- Adorable holiday-themed design for gifting
- Ideal size for travel, play, and bedtime
Cons:- Limited to a single plush, which may not satisfy avid collectors
- Some may find it too small for older children or adults
Best for: Parents and collectors seeking a versatile, cuddly holiday plush suitable for children and casual display
Not ideal for: Adults or serious collectors desiring larger or more intricately detailed holiday plushes
- Brand:Squishmallows
- Toy Figure Type:Stuffed Toy
- Character:Polar Bear
- Model Name:SQXM01070
- Number of Packs:1
- Age Range:3 years and up
Our verdict“This plush makes the most sense for families and casual collectors wanting a festive, cuddly companion.”
Squishmallows Micromallows Holiday Advent Calendar
This Micromallows Advent Calendar offers a fun, collectible way to count down to Christmas with 24 miniature plush toys, including favorites like Benny the Bigfoot. Its small size makes it less suitable for cuddling but perfect for holiday decorating and gifting, especially compared to larger plush options like the Buddy the Elf 12-inch. While the tiny plushes are adorable and highly collectible, the repetitive holiday theme and limited use outside December could make it less appealing for those wanting year-round display pieces. It’s a festive choice for dedicated fans who enjoy holiday traditions and collectibles.
Pros:- Includes 24 miniature plush Squishmallows for holiday countdowns
- Official licensed product with collectible appeal
- Features popular characters like Benny and Cam
Cons:- Small size may not appeal to those wanting larger plush toys
- Limited to seasonal use, less versatile outside holidays
Best for: Families and kids who love holiday countdowns and collectible plush toys
Not ideal for: Collectors seeking larger or more detailed plush figures for year-round display
- Size:2.5 inches
- Number of Items:24
- Theme:Holiday/Christmas
Our verdict“Best suited for holiday enthusiasts who want a festive, collectible experience rather than cuddly comfort.”
Squishmallows Original Holiday 4-Pack – Official Jazwares Plush (Little) – Amazon Exclusive
This exclusive 4-pack of holiday-themed Squishmallows provides a charming collection of festive characters, each made with ultrasoft fabric, making it ideal for cuddling and gifting. Compared with the 5-inch Holiday Plush 6-Pack, this bundle offers a more curated set of characters like Ingred the Purple Cow and Marilyn the Green Pickle Ornament, adding a special touch for holiday gift-giving. However, since all are small, they might not satisfy those seeking larger or more detailed plush toys. This pick makes the most sense for gift-givers or collectors wanting a small, branded holiday set.
Pros:- Festive and adorable characters perfect for holiday gifting
- Made with ultrasoft, cuddly fabric
- Includes unique bios, adding character and charm
Cons:- Limited to holiday-themed characters only
- Small size may not appeal to plush collectors seeking larger toys
Best for: Gift-givers and collectors looking for a festive, compact set of plush characters
Not ideal for: Fans seeking larger, more detailed plush toys or those wanting plushes for daily cuddling
- Brand:Squishmallows
- Toy Figure Type:Plush
- Quantity:4-pack
- Material:Ultrasoft fabric
Our verdict“Ideal for holiday gift-giving or adding a festive touch to a collection, especially for small plush fans.”
Squishmallows Buddy the Elf 12in Plush
With its 12-inch size, Buddy the Elf Squishmallow offers a perfect mix of size and softness, making it well-suited for cuddling during holiday travel or cozy nights in. Compared to the smaller Micromallows or 4-pack options, this plush provides a more substantial, huggable presence that appeals to fans of the Elf movie or those wanting a single, standout holiday character. Its officially licensed status and ultrasoft material add to its appeal, but the focus on a single character limits variety for those who prefer a collection of different plushes. It’s a strong choice for dedicated Elf fans or those seeking a reliable holiday cuddle buddy.
Pros:- Soft, ultrasoft material perfect for cuddling
- Officially licensed by Warner Brothers
- Size ideal for travel and long-term cuddling
Cons:- Limited to one character, which may not suit collectors seeking variety
- Price comparison is difficult without knowing value for size
Best for: Holiday movie fans and travelers seeking a soft, themed plush for cuddling or decoration
Not ideal for: Collectors wanting a larger or more detailed plush beyond 12 inches, or those preferring multiple characters
- Brand:Squishmallows
- Toy Figure Type:Stuffed Toy
- Character:Buddy the Elf
- Model Name:Style 7
- Unit Count:1
- Size:12 inches
Our verdict“Best for Elf enthusiasts or travelers who want a reliable, themed plush for festive cuddling.”
Squishmallows 5-Inch Holiday Plush 6-Pack – Christmas Cozy Squad
This 6-pack of 5-inch holiday plushes offers a compact, colorful collection perfect for small hands, holiday decorating, or stocking stuffers. With characters like Cam the Calico Cat and Darla the Reindeer, it provides variety in a small package, unlike the single-character Buddy the Elf. While the size makes them ideal for cuddling and carrying, this set’s limited scale might not satisfy those seeking larger or more detailed plushes for everyday use. It works best for holiday gifting or adding a festive touch to small spaces, especially when multiple characters are desired.
Pros:- Includes a variety of festive characters in one set
- Compact size easy to carry and cuddle
- Great for holiday gifting and decorating
Cons:- Limited to 5-inch size, not for plush fans wanting larger toys
- Only suitable for holiday-themed use
Best for: Parents and gift-givers looking for a variety of small, festive plushes for holiday decorations or stockings
Not ideal for: Collectors wanting larger, display-worthy plush or those seeking plush toys suitable for year-round use
- Quantity:6-pack
- Size:5 inches
- Characters:Cam, Darla, Brooke, Milanda, Lala, Ryan
Our verdict“This set is perfect for holiday gifting and decorating small spaces or stockings, especially for young children.”
Squishmallows Micromallows 4-Pack Holiday Wreath
This set of four 2.5-inch Micromallows stands out for its adorable, festive holiday designs, making it ideal for collectors seeking small, charming accents. Compared with larger plush options like Ulysses, these tiny plush are more versatile for decorating a tree or filling holiday stockings, but their limited size and holiday-only theme mean they won’t have year-round appeal. The official Squishmallows quality ensures authenticity, and their compact size makes them easy to display or gift in multiples. They excel at adding festive charm but are less suited for cuddling or long-term play due to their small size and seasonal nature.
Pros:- Cute, festive holiday designs
- Compact size perfect for collection or decoration
- Official Squishmallows authenticity seal
Cons:- Limited to holiday-themed characters
- Small size may not appeal to all collectors
- Includes only four characters, limiting variety
Best for: Holiday gift givers or collectors wanting cute, small seasonal decorations
Not ideal for: Young children seeking larger, more cuddly plush for everyday play or non-seasonal use
- Size:2.5 inches
- Includes:4 Micromallows plush toys
- Theme:Holiday Wreath
Our verdict“This set is perfect for collectors and decorators looking to add festive touches, but less ideal for those wanting plush toys for year-round cuddling.”
Squishmallows 20in Ulysses The Black Christmas Tree Plush
This 20-inch Ulysses the Black Christmas Tree plush offers a bold, eye-catching holiday centerpiece, ideal for fans wanting a statement piece. Unlike smaller options like Fleur or Hedda, Ulysses provides a substantial size that’s perfect for cuddling or display, but its size may be unwieldy for smaller spaces or younger children. The plush’s ultrasoft, high-quality material ensures a cozy experience, and its unique holiday tree design adds a modern twist to traditional decor. While it’s a standout for festive display, the large size and seasonal exclusivity limit its versatility for year-round use.
Pros:- Soft, high-quality plush material
- Unique holiday-themed design
- Includes a fun bio and name for character depth
Cons:- Limited to seasonal use
- Size may be too large for small spaces or young children
- Only available in one character design
Best for: Home decorators and collectors seeking a large, plush holiday statement piece
Not ideal for: Small children or those with limited space who need compact, lightweight plush
- Size:20 inches
- Material:Ultrasoft plush
- Character:Ulysses
- Theme:Black Christmas Tree
Our verdict“Ulysses is ideal for those wanting a large, cuddly holiday decoration, but may be less practical for everyday use or small homes.”
Squishmallows 12in Hedda the Milk for Santa Plush
The 12-inch Hedda the Milk for Santa plush strikes a balance between size and portability, making it a great collectible for holiday enthusiasts. Compared with the larger Ulysses, Hedda is more manageable for display and cuddling, yet still offers enough presence to serve as a holiday accent. The plush’s ultrasoft material ensures comfort, and her unique character design adds to her appeal. However, her medium size and seasonal theme mean she’s less suited for very young children or year-round display, and she might feel too small for those wanting a larger plush for hugging.
Pros:- Soft, ultrasoft plush fabric
- Officially licensed Squishmallows product
- Unique character with holiday theme
Cons:- Limited to holiday season use
- Medium size may not appeal to all for cuddling
- No additional features or interactive elements
Best for: Collectors and fans wanting a charming, medium-sized holiday plush
Not ideal for: Parents seeking larger plush toys for young children’s daily play
- Size:12 inches
- Material:Ultrasoft fabric
- Character:Hedda
- Theme:Milk for Santa
Our verdict“Hedda offers a perfect size for holiday display and collection, but falls short for those seeking plush toys for extensive play or year-round decor.”
Squishmallows Holiday Fox 14” Plush
The 14-inch Holiday Fox plush is designed for fans who appreciate detailed, themed characters with a soft touch. Its size makes it more suitable for cuddling than the ultra-compact Micromallows or the large Ulysses, and its design features a memorable holiday character complete with a bio, adding collectible value. Compared to Fleur or Hedda, the Fox offers a more detailed look, but limited information on materials or care instructions makes its long-term durability less clear. This plush is best for those wanting a distinctive holiday character for display or gifting, rather than as a general-purpose toy.
Pros:- Ultra-soft, high-quality material
- Unique, detailed character design
- Official Squishmallows product
Cons:- Limited details on care and materials
- Size may not be ideal for very young children
- Lacks interactive or additional features
Best for: Fans of character-driven holiday collectibles and display pieces
Not ideal for: Those seeking plush toys for small hands or everyday play, due to limited details on durability
- Size:14 inches
- Material:Ultrasoft fabric
- Character:Holiday Fox
Our verdict“The Holiday Fox is a charming, character-rich plush ideal for collectors and display, but less suitable for rough play or everyday cuddling.”
Squishmallows 8in Fleur the Yule Log with Holly
This 8-inch Fleur the Yule Log plush offers a festive, whimsical addition to holiday decorating and gifting. Its small size makes it ideal for filling stockings or adding to a holiday scene, and the plush’s ultrasoft material ensures a cozy feel. Compared with larger plush like Ulysses or Hedda, Fleur’s compact form makes it more suitable for limited spaces and more portable for gifting. Her holiday theme and playful design make her a seasonal favorite, but her small size and niche theme mean she may not serve as a versatile, year-round plush for everyone.
Pros:- Soft, high-quality plush material
- Festive, playful holiday design
- Includes a bio and name for added collectibility
Cons:- Limited to 8 inches, less cuddly for some
- Holiday-specific theme may limit use outside season
- Design may be too niche for everyday collection
Best for: Holiday decorators and gift givers seeking a cute, small plush for stockings or decor
Not ideal for: Those wanting larger plush toys for cuddling or children needing more durable, everyday companions
- Size:8 inches
- Material:Ultrasoft plush
- Character:Fleur the Yule Log
- Theme:Holiday
Our verdict“Fleur is a charming, space-efficient holiday plush perfect for decorations or stockings, but less suited for everyday cuddling or non-seasonal use.”
Squishmallows Original Holiday Micromallows Plush Bouquet
This tiny holiday-themed plush bouquet offers a charming way to celebrate the season without the bulk of larger plushes like the 14-inch Nick the Santa. Featuring three 2.5-inch Micromallows—Laurel the Christmas Tree, Zumir the Peppermint Moose, and Brooke the Polar Bear—these characters are ideal for display or on-the-go gifting. Their small size makes them perfect for collectors who want a festive touch without storage issues, but they lack detailed features and may not appeal to those seeking larger, more huggable plushes. Compared to the 10-inch Ignacio Snowman, these Micromallows are less cuddly but more portable, fitting into small spaces easily. This pick is best for fans who want holiday decor or collectibles in miniature form.
Pros:- Compact size allows easy display or carrying
- Includes three different characters for variety
- Soft, plush texture suitable for cuddling
Cons:- Limited to small size, less suitable for hugging or play
- No detailed features due to miniature scale
- Less visually impactful compared to larger plush options
Best for: Holiday collectors seeking small, festive plushes for display or gifting
Not ideal for: Kids who prefer larger, more cuddly plush toys or for those seeking plushes for hugging
- Size:2.5 inches
- Includes:3 Micromallows
- Characters:Laurel, Zumir, Brooke
- Theme:Holiday
Our verdict“This set is perfect for collectors or fans who want festive decor in a small, portable form.”
Squishmallows Original Holiday 4-Pack – Official Jazwares Plush (Little) – Amazon Exclusive
This holiday 4-pack offers a colorful collection of small Squishmallows, including Maritza the Cactus, Stevon the Golden Retriever, Clayton the Blue Cow, and Tinsley the Peppermint Latte. Unlike the larger 10-inch Ignacio Snowman, these plushes are more suited for gifting or collecting rather than extensive cuddling. Their high-quality ultrasoft plush material makes them appealing for fans of all ages, but the package’s seasonal nature limits their use year-round. Compared with the 14-inch Nick the Santa, these are less imposing but more versatile for small spaces or as stocking stuffers. This set makes sense for those wanting a variety of holiday-themed plushes without the commitment of larger sizes.
Pros:- Includes four distinct characters with unique bios
- Soft, high-quality plush material
- Official Jazwares product, Amazon exclusive
Cons:- Limited to holiday-themed characters, less versatile
- No size details provided, possibly small
- Seasonal product, not for year-round display
Best for: Gift-givers or collectors looking for a small, varied holiday plush set
Not ideal for: Children seeking large, huggable plush toys or for long-term cuddle companions
- Includes:4 Squishmallows
- Characters:Maritza, Stevon, Clayton, Tinsley
- Material:Ultrasoft plush
- Theme:Holiday
Our verdict“This collection suits those who want a variety of festive plushes in a convenient, collectible pack.”
Squishmallows 10-Inch Ignacio Snowman Holiday Plush
This 10-inch Ignacio Snowman strikes a balance between size and cuddliness, making it a versatile gift for children and collectors who prefer a traditional holiday figure. Its soft, plush exterior encourages imaginative play, similar to the 14-inch Nick the Santa but in a more manageable size. While it offers a recognizable winter character, its limited to just the snowman persona, which might limit appeal for those seeking a broader range of holiday themes. Compared with the smaller Micromallows, the Ignacio Snowman provides more cuddle factor and visual impact, though it might be too small for those who want a plush to hug constantly. This plush is ideal for festive decor or holiday gift-giving for fans of classic winter characters.
Pros:- Super soft and cuddly for kids and collectors
- Encourages imaginative play
- Great holiday gift option
- Size is manageable for small hands
Cons:- Limited to a single character (Snowman)
- May be too small for some plush enthusiasts
- Only suitable for ages 3 and up
Best for: Children and collectors wanting a traditional, medium-sized snow-themed plush
Not ideal for: Those seeking larger, more huggable plush toys or multi-character collections
- Size:10 inches
- Character:Snowman
- Material:Soft plush
- Age Range:3 years and up
- UPC:191726808763
- Manufacturer:Jazwares
Our verdict“This plush makes a charming, classic holiday gift for those who prefer a traditional snowman figure in a convenient size.”
Squishmallows 14in Nick the Santa Claus Plush
The 14-inch Nick the Santa Claus plush offers a more substantial presence than smaller options, making it ideal for fans seeking a Santa-themed plush with a fun twist—Nick wears a Hawaiian shirt. Its ultrasoft material creates a plush that is both visually appealing and cuddly, perfect for holiday displays or as a festive gift. Compared with Ignacio Snowman, Nick is larger and more huggable, but if space is limited, the 10-inch size might be more practical. Its unique Santa character with a playful design appeals to collectors and children alike, though it may be less suitable for those who prefer traditional Santa plushes or want a plush purely for cuddling rather than display. This plush is best suited for holiday decor or as a collectible for Santa enthusiasts.
Pros:- Large, cuddly size for hugging or display
- Unique Santa in a Hawaiian shirt adds fun flair
- High-quality, ultrasoft plush material
- Official Squishmallows authenticity seal
Cons:- Limited to fans of holiday-themed plush or Santa characters
- Size might be too bulky for small spaces
- Less suitable for those who prefer classic Santa plushes
Best for: Santa fans and collectors wanting a larger, fun holiday plush for display or cuddling
Not ideal for: Those seeking a small, easily portable plush or a traditional Santa figure without a playful twist
- Size:14 inches
- Character:Nick the Santa Claus
- Material:Ultrasoft plush
- Authenticity:Official Squishmallows
Our verdict“This plush suits Santa fans and collectors who want a sizable, playful holiday figure with a distinctive look.”

Factors to Consider When Choosing Squishmallows Holiday List
Choosing the right squishmallow for the holidays involves more than just picking a cute design. Size impacts how the plush fits into your space or gift, while theme and character choice can enhance the holiday spirit. Consider the durability and softness if the plush is for a child or frequent cuddler, and think about whether you want a collectible or a seasonal decoration. Price points vary, so match your budget with the quality and exclusivity of the plush. Finally, think about storage—larger plush toys can be a challenge to keep when not in use, so plan accordingly.Size and Portability
Size influences how and where you display or gift your squishmallow. Compact options like the 5-inch plushes are easy to store and perfect for stocking stuffers, while larger sizes like the 20-inch Ulysses are statement pieces that look great on beds or sofas. Think about who will be using or receiving the plush—kids might prefer smaller, cuddly sizes, while collectors may opt for larger or more detailed designs. Portability also affects gifting—smaller plushes are easier to ship or carry for holiday visits.
Theme and Character Match
Matching the plush to holiday themes or characters enhances the festive appeal. Characters like Santa, elves, or winter animals evoke seasonal cheer, but some designs are more versatile for year-round display. Consider if you want a specific character, such as Buddy the Elf, or a neutral winter scene like a polar bear. Themed plushes also make great collectibles, but they may limit their use after the season ends. Choose a character that aligns with your holiday decor or recipient’s preferences for lasting impact.
Build Quality and Durability
High-quality materials and sturdy stitching ensure your plush lasts through holiday seasons and play. Cheaper options might look appealing initially but could fall apart faster or lose their shape. For children or frequent cuddling, durability becomes especially important. Conversely, collectors might prioritize craftsmanship details over softness. Keep in mind that some plushes with intricate accessories or embellishments may require careful handling to maintain their appearance over time.
Price and Value
Price varies widely, so balancing your budget with quality matters. Bundles or multi-packs offer savings and variety, ideal for gifting or multiple plush collection. Premium designs, like detailed Santa figures, come at a higher cost but offer enhanced craftsmanship and exclusivity. Be wary of very cheap options that may not hold up over time or lack the seasonal charm you desire. Consider what features are most important—size, theme, or durability—and match them to your budget accordingly.
Storage and Space Considerations
Large plushes like the 20-inch Ulysses provide striking visual impact but demand ample storage space when not in use. Smaller plushes are easier to tuck away or include in stockings. Think about where you’ll display or store your holiday squishmallows—if space is limited, smaller or foldable options might be better. Seasonal plushes can also be used as part of holiday decor, so consider how they fit into your existing decorations and whether you have room for larger pieces.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are squishmallows suitable for young children during the holidays?
Squishmallows are generally soft, plush, and safe for children, making them a popular holiday gift for kids. However, it’s important to check the age recommendations on specific models, especially if there are small parts or embellishments that could pose a choking hazard. For very young children, choose plushes with embroidered features instead of plastic eyes or accessories. Overall, their cuddly nature and gentle materials make them a safe and comforting holiday gift for most children.
How do I choose a squishmallow that lasts through multiple holidays?
Durability depends on the quality of materials and construction. Look for plushes with strong stitching, high-quality fabric, and minimal embellishments that could fall off over time. Consider investing in classic designs or those made with premium materials, which tend to withstand frequent cuddling and seasonal display. Proper storage during the off-season also extends their lifespan, preventing crushing or fabric degradation. This way, your holiday squishmallow can become a cherished seasonal tradition.
Is it better to buy a themed holiday squishmallow or a neutral one?
Themed holiday plushes like Santa or elf characters create immediate festive appeal and are great for seasonal decorating. Neutral plushes, such as winter animals or cozy characters, can be used beyond the holidays, offering more versatility. If you want a plush that can serve as a year-round decor piece, opt for neutral designs. Conversely, if your priority is capturing the holiday spirit vividly, themed plushes provide instant charm and seasonal relevance.
What size squishmallow should I buy as a gift for a child?
For children, sizes around 8 to 12 inches are generally the most manageable and cuddly. Smaller sizes are easier to carry and fit into stockings, while larger plushes can serve as a cozy bed companion or a statement decor piece. Consider the child’s age and space—very large plushes might be overwhelming for younger kids or difficult to store when not in use. Choosing a size that balances comfort, portability, and display is key to a satisfying gift.
Should I prioritize seasonal exclusives or classic designs?
Seasonal exclusives offer unique, limited-edition appeal and can become collectible items, but they might be harder to find after the holidays. Classic designs tend to be more versatile and can be enjoyed year-round, making them a practical choice if you’re looking for long-term value. If you love collecting or want a plush that captures the holiday spirit intensely, seasonal exclusives are worth seeking out. For everyday use and broader appeal, classic designs provide more flexibility.
Conclusion
For the best overall choice, the Squishmallows 10-Inch Brooke Polar Bear offers a charming, versatile option suitable for most recipients. If you’re looking for budget-friendly variety, the Holiday 4-Pack sets provide excellent value, especially for gifting multiple people. Those seeking a premium, collectible piece should consider the Nick Santa Claus Plush for detailed craftsmanship. Beginners or casual collectors will appreciate the smaller, easier-to-store options like the Fleur the Yule Log. For holiday-specific decor or themed gifts, characters like Buddy the Elf or Ulysses the Black Christmas Tree stand out. Choose based on your priorities—whether it’s display impact, durability, or seasonal charm—to find the perfect squishmallow for this festive season.
